Mint plant

Categories: ,

Mint requires little maintenance and its hardiness makes it an easy plant to handle. Mint can be grown in pots, in planters or in the ground. It remains very invasive. For this reason, prune it regularly and keep it in a corner of the garden.

It prefers rich soil all year round:

  • Mint likes cool soil.
  • She fears drought.
  • It appreciates an exposure in partial shade or subdued light, this is where it thrives the most and becomes very resistant.
  • To prevent it from invading your entire flowerbed or vegetable garden, it is recommended to plant it in a large buried pot.

It is rich in iron, calcium and manganese as well as vitamin A, B2, C, K and PP.
