Heat the oil and sauté the onions for a few minutes.
Add the rice and turmeric.
Let brown for 2 minutes while stirring.
Moisten with 50 cl of boiling water.
Add crushed garlic, salt and pepper.
Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain and serve immediately.
